Red Border Films, which pushes the frontiers of digital storytelling, kicks off this week with a look back, 50 years later, at the March on Washington and Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I have a dream” speech. This “One Dream” project goes live on Thursday, along with a TIME cover story on the subject. “One Dream” will feature nearly one hour of original video by TIME photographer and filmmaker Marco Grob and includes interviews with 17 participants from the movement, from John Lewis to Joan Baez to Harry Belafonte.

Red Border Films will draw on TIME’s extensive network of photojournalists, filmmakers and other contributors to produce both short documentaries and expanded films, presented along with interactive features at time.com/redborder, where users will be able to watch films, explore in-depth information about the filmmakers and their subjects and view photo galleries and other multimedia elements around each project.

These films combine TIME’s authoritative journalism and perspective with the unique power of cinematic storytelling. The name – Red Border Films – refers to the iconic border on the cover of TIME, one of the world’s most trusted news sources.

Building off the success of TIME’s Emmy award winning “Beyond 9/11” project, Red Border Films will combine the best work from filmmakers with the latest interactive technologies.
