Bronwen Parker-Rhodes: Stripped | Photography | HUNGER TV

Photographer Bronwen Parker-Rhodes, who previously studied fine art, gives us a glimpse into the lifestyle behind stripping in her documentary submission for Hunger TV.

EXPLAIN THE CONCEPT OF YOUR STORY TO US?

This project offers a glimpse behind the bedroom doors of girls who strip, revealing something about their personalities away from the stage or the communal dressing room. Surrounded by the clutter of their lives – from sentimental knick-knacks to the costumes of their trade – these are sexy, confident women enjoying their exhibitionism on their own terms.

WHO WOULD YOU LOVE TO PHOTOGRAPH?

Pamela Anderson, she’d be amazing.

TELL US WHO INFLUENCES YOU?

William Eggleston, Carlo Mollino, Elmer Batters, Mitch Epstein and Sally Mann are huge inspirations on my work.

TELL US WHAT YOU’RE HUNGRY FOR?

I’m hungry to make my first feature film.
